Dear Readers, 'Light & Engineering' is in part a translation of the Russian 'Svetotekhnika', one of the oldest (from 1932) and most authoritative journals in the world devoted to light and lighting research. In 1993 - 1999, 'Light & Engineering' was published by 'Allerton Press', New York. Starting from 2000, the journal is being issued by the 'Znack Publishing House', in Russia. The journal's international editorial board consist of established scientists from Russia, the USA, Germany, Japan, Australia, Italy, Canada, the Netherlands, Israel, UK, France and Bulgaria.
The Journal "Light & Engineering" has been selected into Thomson Scientific database of "Science Citation Index Expanded" from Vol. 16, #1-2008
